The Math-a-Thon is a supplemental math education program that serves all as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Students who participate in the program work approximately 250 problems in Funbooks provided by St. Jude Hospital.  Students get friends and family to sponsor them for the number of problems they work.

The program is an entertaining and enjoyable way for students to review their standard math skills and to exercise problem solving skills and critical thinking processes. Because parents are asked to check the answers with a provided answer key, they are also able to gauge their child’s mathematical abilities.
