William Allen White
Children’s Book Award

The Award is special because it is the children who choose the books receiving awards.  Each year Kansas school children from third to eighth grade read books from master lists and then near the end of the school term vote for the books they think are best from each list.

This year, authors Peni Griffin and Andrea Warren, will both be in attendance the weekend of October the 2nd to meet the students at Emporia State University.
