The p
hysical education program contains units that will be taught consideration to
age appropriate skills and abilities. The activities taught are standardized and based on large population studies of the age group. They include cognitive as well as physical and social skills.
The physical education units are both sports and individual skills that are available in the United States. The units are based on learning and performance progression, thus leading to practice and fundamental abilities to participate in the sport/activity as well as be a knowledgeable spectator.
Some of the activities for grade school include: warm-up excersises and stretching, running skills, body movement, tumbling, ball-handling skills, rope jumping, circle games and team sport activities such as soccer, basketball, t-ball and kickball. We also offer a year-round running program.
